What should I order if I've experienced multiple losses?

We are actively working to streamline our custom order process for keepsakes honoring more than 3 losses, and are temporarily unable to accept these projects.

 

What if I don't know how far along my pregnancy was?

We have sized each authentic footprint to artistically represent your loss - as accurately as possible - measured by LMP (last missed period).

Should I order a footprint for how far along my pregnancy was, or the size my baby was? (Example: "A Doctor said my baby likely passed at 7 weeks based on his/her size, but I didn't miscarry until 11 weeks.")

While this is entirely up to you, I highly recommend ordering a footprint size which coordinates with your pregnancy loss date/D&C. It is difficult to assign an accurate date of death following a missed miscarriage, as fetal shrinking occurs.

 

My loss happened halfway through a week. Does this footprint still accurately represent embryo/fetal footprint size?

Me too. My loss occurred at 8.5 weeks, and I cling to those extra 3 days my baby stayed in my womb. 

While this decision is entirely yours to make, I chose to represent my child's life with an 8 week footprint set, rounding to the nearest size. 

 

My loss was a termination. Does this count?

Absolutely. Though there is much political and religious tension surrounding our inclusion of abortion statistics with unintentional forms of pregnancy loss, please know that we do so with great intentionally as we welcome each and every family seeking healing after an abortion experience. Whether you identify your beliefs as pro-life, pro-choice, or somewhere undecidedly in between, abortion grief is statistically undeniable.

What will my custom engraving look like?

All of our necklace and keychain engravings are performed with an elegant, calligraphic font named, "Tangerine."

This font currently supports:

  • English (latin characters)
  • Many latin-based fonts with accents (French, Spanish, etc.)
  • Japanese and Chinese (most characters)
  • a heart symbol ♡

Gone So Soon Pendants and Keychains support two lines of text, each with a 20 character limit (this includes spaces). The text input fields will not allow you to enter more text than we can engrave.

    I completely understand. Join our email list and revisit us in the month of July. We intentionally sell our keepsakes at a financial loss on July 27th each year, because everyone is deserving of healing.
